Think of this as a very simplified Mechanical Turk: <[url removed, login to view]> but without lengthy forms and templates or money transactions. Just a communication site linking possible buyers with workers.
This will be a very simple outsource facilitation site where the Requestor signs up for an account, logs in to their posting page and posts a task for completion that can be completed by one or more interested Workers.
Think of this as a very simplified Mechanical Turk: <[url removed, login to view]> but without lengthy forms and templates. The requestor will use a simple Web based WYSIWYG editor to describe their task. The only form fields will be their Username (auto filled), their PayPal email (auto filled) and the Cost Per Task and number of Workers needed (which they will fill in.) Their login page will have an option to change their user info, an Inbox for Admin messages, an Accepted Tasks Queue which gives the name and email of who has accepted the task, a Completed Tasks Queue which gives the name and email of who has accepted the task and a Paid checkbox (manually checked by Requestor as a note to self) beside each in the completed queue along with a notes section for each.
The Requestor can define the cost per task and determine how many Workers he will accept to complete the task (meaning the same task will be completed by several people and the Requestor will pay all of them the same full amount.)
The Workers will log in and check the job board for available tasks as well as being able to search for same and sort by criteria such as payment amount, length of time required, etc.
The worker will then select a task they want to perform and sign up for it. They will then have a Requestor defined amount of time to complete the task and report it complete.
Once a task has been marked complete by the Worker, the system should automatically generate an invoice for the Requestor via PayPal and send it to him. It should also generate a reminder and place it in his Completed Tasks Queue (he can use the aforementioned check box and notes section as he likes.)
There will be no monetary transactions via the site. All work is between the Requestors and Workers. The site will be open only to US residents to begin with. Only the following will be required to open an account:
Acceptance of terms.
Checking US Resident box (and having system do IP verification)
Email Address (used for PayPal account)
The system should also capture the user’s IP Address for security reasons and store it for the Admin.
