We are seeking to have a website developed for an umbrella organization of professional associations. Top level view is the development of a informational website and a business directory where members can list their contact info or have a custom web page. Categories: 1.0 Home 2.0 Member Business Directory 2.1 Corporate Members 2.1.1 Engineering 18.104.22.168 Directory 22.214.171.124.1 Member 1 project gallery etc 2.1.2 Doctor 126.96.36.199 Directory 188.8.131.52.1 Member 1 project gallery etc 2.2 Associate Members 2.2.1 WTO 2.2.2 University 3.0 Export 3.1 Export Opportunities 3.1.7 Other 4.0 Trade Agreements 4.1 Free Trade Area of the Americas 5.0 Standards 5.1 Engineering etc 6.0 Moderated Discussion forum 7.0 Newsletters 4 annual newsletters, archive ability. 8.0 Papers Pages for technical trade papers. 9.0 Members Only area Secure page where project opportunities are listed. We want to proceed in 2 phases: Phase 1:-Design and launch website with textual information e.g. Home, Export, Trade agreements, Discussion Forum, Newsletter. Update: We like: [url removed, login to view] but with a different image. Phase 2:-Design and launch Database driven portion of site (Business Directory, Post projects). Phase 2: Business Directory software exists: [url removed, login to view] and we are not opposed to having the developer customize such a package. Features which such a package should have include: browse listings by category search for listings create a new user account by registering secure administration area configurable records per page queue listings for pre-publication approval by administration webmaster notified of new and updated listing New Listings page customer preview of listing with add or edit We are open to any suggestions, either building from scratch or using existing packages that can be modified. We do work in Asp, Cold Fusion, Php, MySql/Access/SQL Server but the application language/database is not set in stone. Each of the standard pages in the directory can contain web-links and e-mail and images, which should open in a separate window. There should be the facility to host custom pages for members who desire a look/feel different from the standard pages, but which are still accessed from the main directory. We have tried to outline as much information as possible but feel free to respond with requests for clarifications.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program. 2) All graphic files (PSD and jpeg/gif), Database schema(s), database(s), Html, Css and source code of all work done.
3) Fully Documented Code.
4) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site).
5)Checklist showing successful testing of each program feature
This would be dependent on the scripting language used, if Asp or Cold Fusion then IIS, PHP would be apache, etc
