Would like pagination/typesetting program with database (which I can provide general framework) for which in the end will have the following features:
Allow production of small book/directory to be produced based on specs provided. Would like to be able to choose a publication size like 4x6, 5x7, then select column count, header, footer, autonumber, banner ad features, then ad types common to industry (bl - bold listing, rl - regular listing, boxed ads, full pages, half page, 1/4 page. free line/text for custom ads requests. Also allow for color ads. Pictures, images, inserts. Much like illustrator. Database components would be usual company names, addresses, special listing text, phone/fax numbers, credit cards accepted, ratings, discounts offered, national account number, etc. Much like a yellow page publication, but for a much smaller scale and sophistication. Easy to use interface, with most common listing types. Billing or contact manager, reminder, invoicing system module with it would be greatly desired as add-in. Negotiable if proven. Buyer would own all rights, copyrights, code, material, programming etc. Existing proprietary programs, off the shelf products or proven programs (show samples) will be considered (with Illustrator etc.). For windows 98-2000, with flexibility to offer online service. All custom pagination/typesetting design is property of buyer (not illustrator obviously...). **_If responding with $ amount, please provide references/sample of work related to typesetting-pagination/interface and database design - not website links. This has no importance to me right now....
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site).
Windows 98-2000-xp all would be considered. Would prefer Access db for starters, the migrate over to SQL server 2000/ODBC, etc.
