I need to have [url removed, login to view] redesigned. I am looking for the site to be dynamic in that I can go into an admin interface and make updates without having to go to the webpage code and make the changes. I need it to be developed in .asp. would like to keep the database format in ms access for now as the hits to the db at any given time wouldnt be enough to cause it to crash. **also note, my host uses dsn connections only to the db** I also need a clean easy to read look. You are welcome to use a premade template if you have some already, however I want to try and keep my site design as original as possible and clean. I have a combination generator on the site that was designed by a previous developer that I wish to keep in tact the way it is, the code is already there, you would only have to incorporate those pages into the new site.... All the other pages to me need updating badly... The only page im really looking to be able to update on a daily basis is the main page. On the main page, I am looking to have a "tip of the day" type field so each time the user hits the page, it will show them a different tip(I should be able to access these tips and update/delete in the admin section) I also need to have a page setup that allows users to login and they can add thoughts to that page and it will update with their information when they are finished(cursing and foul words should be marked out on this page if a user puts them in, i.e. ******)the login can be attached to the combogen login so users dont have to constantly sign in to different sections. the admin on the site will have the ability to delete users entries. I can provide logos as requested.. I am looking for the developer to setup the pages and suggest to me where the best locations for logos should go.
would like to see the site up and running and tested before payment will be made. i worked with a developer in the past and he worked directly on my current site location. once the site is up and there are no bugs, payment will be made.
the site should be viewable in I.E. and netscape browsers.
