I need a Windows application that will copy all of the IPTC header information from one set of image files to a second set of image files with similar names. As an example, say I have two folders, each containing a set of JPEGS. Some or all of the files in these two folders have the same names. I would need to be able to choose the source folder and the destination folder, and then have the program copy all the IPTC info from the source files to the destination files which bear the same name. I would need to be able to toggle case sensitivity on or off with regards to the filenames. In otherwords, sometimes I will want the filenames "[url removed, login to view]" and "[url removed, login to view]" to be a match, and at other times not. I would also need the program to report which files in the destination folder did NOT receive any IPTC info (due to them having no similarly named counterpart in the source folder, etc.) I want to be able to pick the source and destination folders, and then have the program do all the copying in one batch. I will be using this program on folders containing as few as one file, and as many as a thousand. So it should be able to work in that range.
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
I will be running this on Win98/ME/XP
