google adwords & overture/yahoo search marketing api automated advertising application

Need to create a program that will allow us to manage our google adwords & yahoo/overture search marketing campeigns, automatically creating/editing/deleting new ads and maintaining bids & positioning.

* Create/manage new ads automatically based on product database and defined requirements in a template based manner. We will provide a delimitered list of item code data such as manufacturer part number, manufactuer name, category name, description, etc that will be imported and used as a local database routinely (we will have our inventory systems export a list of in stock items we want to advertise, and this program takes it from there). We need to use a combination of these available fields with static text elements to dynamically create new ads. For example for the category Plasma TVs we want to use the Title text: Buy $manufacturer_name $manufacturer_partno Subject Now on sale at [url removed, login to view] Link: [url removed, login to view]$manufactuer_partno. We need to be able to create such ads by both category / brand / specific item codes.

* Because of the quota systems in place with Google adwords/etc we want to minimize all use of their fuctions & keep track of their usage.

* For each item code we want to define a list of keywords that will be used for each brand based on variations of the item code, brand name, and static text keyword combinations: ie. $manufactuer_partno, $manufactuer_name $manufactuer_partno, $manufactuer_partno digital camera, etc. Additionally, we need to be able to search googles API for recommended keywords to be used.

* Maintain bid position with smallest bid gap to specific position or range of positions.

* Apply max spend

* Specify a competitor URL to stay within defined position of.

* Control the automation of ad creation by any of the fields available in the product feed (IE, for the category field we can say "for all instances of "category name" use this ad template", etc)

* Must be able to handle multiple yahoo/google accounts/ads.

* Must be built to handle any field in provided product file as a variable that can be used in templates for creating new ads.

* On each run ads that were already created and do not have new/updated ad ad text defined will remain the same; new or updated ads will be added/updated automatically. Products that are no longer in the list will be removed from advertising.

* Must be able to automatically schedule importing of products file, and update ad data, bid data periodically.

* Ability to control all advertising requirements that are available through google/yahoo interfaces, and are mandatory for creating and maintaing ads. We should not have to goto the google/yahooo reporting interface except for reporting.

* Import existing keywords from account to ensure that no duplicate keywords are defined etc/error duplicate prevention systems

* Built modularlly so that future feature additions will not be a problem.
