Current Process - Customer pays for a package over telephone (domain registration, hosting etc), the domain name is registered, DNS settinsg applied, account created in Plesk, details logged on spreadsheets.
Process required -
1. Facility to upload a list of new accounts to be created with criteria (ie, domain type - .[url removed, login to view], .com, .net etc, hosting details, customer details)
2. Account to be created automatically using criteria from step1 in hosting/billing manager software
3. Email sent automatically to customer using contact details from step1 with their login details to hosting manager system
4. The hosting manager system will already have a pre-configured account for each customer as per step2, this will allow customer to register for a domain of their choice and provide them with details of the next step ie website design etc.
1. Most customers are prepay customers, who have already paid for the service so do not need to be billed unless they require additional services or upgrades etc
2. Automation tool needs to request customer to enter their credit card details so that renewals etc can be carried out automatically unless they close their account.
3. Customers need to be able to upgrade at anytime
4. The whole system needs to integrate with our e-commerce site, where new customers can select products to purchase and the automation needs to link in.
5. New customers need to be able to sign up for domains and hosting via the website.
