I'm looking for someone to create a program to run on my server (centOS 4.3) that will convert text to speech. You can do this program 100% or you can edit a program such as this: [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] This program should run smoothly on the server and must sound more human like/natural than flite. I'd also like for it to accept long text entries. (I don't think flite works well with the long entries. Users should be able to submit some text and have it create a .mp3 file (flite makes a .wav file) with the text spoken. For the voices I'd like to have a womans voice and a mans voice. Feel free to use Google if you don't want to create them by yourself but it'd be better if you did them. If you do well on this project I'd also like for you to create a program to run on windows that converts text to voice and uploads it to the site. That's a whole different thing though.
