A program in C++; that simulates an fully automated car washing mechanism at a gas station. The line is a queue object. Customers (i.e., customer objects) arrive in random integer intervals of 1-to-n minutes. Also, each customer is serviced (his/her car is washed) in random integer intervals of 1-to-n minutes. Obviously, the rates need to be balanced. If the average arrival rate is larger than the average service rate, the queue will grow infinitely. Even with “balanced?? rates, randomness can still cause long lines. Run the car wash simulation for a 12-hour day (720 minutes) using the following algorithm: 1) Choose a random integer between 1 and n to determine the minute at which the first customer arrives. 2) At the first customer’s arrival time: a) Determine customer’s service time (random integer from 1-to-n); b) Begin servicing the customer c) Schedule arrival time of next customer (random integer 1-to-n added to the current time). 3) For each minute of the day: a) If the next customer arrives, i) Enqueue the customer, ii) Schedule the arrival time of the next customer; b) If service was completed for the last customer; i) Dequeue next customer to be serviced; ii) Determine customer’s service completion time (random integer from 1-to-n added to the current time). Now run your simulation. The program must get the total continuous work time of the car wash mechanism in minutes, number “n?? (arrival minute limit) and the number of the car wash lines from user. The program must show the steps in the gas station or write them to a text file (preferred). Buy using this inputs, answer each of the following? a) What is the maximum number of customers in the queue at any time? b) What is the longest wait any one-customer experiences? c) What is the average wait time for the customers? d) What is the work percentage of a car wash mechanism at that interval?

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Explanation of each line of the code is required. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

## Platform

"Linux" terminal, must be compiled with g++.
