Cisco CDP Packet Client

We need an API developed that will allow network cards to recieve Cisco devices CDP packets. Once recieved the API needs to support access to all of the various information available in a CDP packet. This api should be able to compile as a DLL or activeX control. The API should also support listening for extended periods of time and notifying the controlling application of when CDP packets are recieved. We would like to be able to collect this information without having to utilize permiscous mode. Building the client as a driver is acceptable if required. It would be prefereable to not utilize any open source code for this project.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. 4) Documentation of the api 5)Sample program written in either C++,Delphi or VB will be required.
