We need a working "terminal program", running under (MS-)DOS which can send and receive data asyncronously (interrupt driven) through one of the serial ports (COM1, COM2, ...)
The program should be written in C, the source should be compileable with Watcom C/C++ 11.0 (DOS 16 oder 32-Bit (DOS4GW)), since the functions of this program will be implemented in another program, written by our company.
Attached to this bid request you'll find a program that does anything we need. Just connect 2 computers by null modem cable on COM1 and start the program on each of the computers in DOS-mode (or Windows DOS-Box). Characters typed on one of the computers will appear in the console of the other computer.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done, compileable with Watcom C/C++ 11.0.
2) Installation package (if needed) that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site).
(MS-)DOS in 16 Bit version or
(MS-)DOS in 32 Bit version with DOS4GW Extender.
