Error correction algorithm

We are looking for a fast implementation of Reed-Solomon error correction code for Java SE and also Java ME.

The input must be a file or int array (values 0-64, 0-128 or 0-256) and the output a file or int array in the same range values.

The total length (m), error parity bits (b) can be variable and provided as input by the user, but must support at least those values for (m,b): (16,b), (32,b), (64,b), (128,b).

Max. errors corrected: b/2.

Floating point operations are not allowed.

One method will be used for encoding and other one for decoding.

Advantage for a bidder with demo working properly.


We found a solution for this.

The phase 2 of the project requires interleaving the bits from the first encoding and apply a second ReedSolomon encoding (known as Cross Interleaved Reed-Solomon Code, or CIRC).

## Deliverables

Java class and sources for both Java ME and SE.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
