**Project Aim**
To capture information about files being created, deleted or modified on a PC
**Objectives:**

* (a)Change Type (Created, Deleted, Modified)
* (b)File Name
* (c)File Path (
* d)Date / Time
* (e)Number of file handles (e.g. Is the file still being accessed by an application)
* (f)File hash

[login to view URL] specific files to be logged / excluded from logging

[login to view URL] an option to prevent the application from being disabled or terminated
[login to view URL] supervisor password for the above objective (6)

I am looking for bids on this project and will consider three sorts of bids:
1 - To implement aim / deliverable one only
2 - To implement all aims / deliverables
3 - To implement all aims / deliverables except 6, 8 and 9 (ie to deliver 1,2,3,4,5,7).
If you wish to bid on this work as two projects, e.g. to do deliverable 1 as one project and then deliverable s 2 to 9 as a second project I will also consider those type of bids.
## Deliverables
**IMPORTANT .....Please see notes as there are extra deliverable requirements at the end of the deliverables list.**
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
3) All code will be compliant with Microsoft coding standards for naming conventions, layout and documentation as per Appendix Six in the attached document

The reasons for accepting their solution (which was not the cheapest bid by any means) is because they:

* Demonstrated they had read my specification by feeding back on parts of the design
* Offered a bid with a reasonable time frame for success (1 month)
* Broke the request down into parts and explained how they would fulfill each part of the project
There were many bids where no reference was made to the specification, no indication of how the application would be built , no information on what language would be used. These bids were not considered at all. I want to know the bids I am receiving are from people who understand what I want.
