We would like to integrate the current build of ffmpeg in our Java based video conferencing software. Actually we are using ffmpeg-0.4.9 with jffmpeg.
ffmpeg-0.4.9 does not compile on Mac OS snow leopard x86, the current build does. So the idea is to switch to the current build of ffmpeg. Therefore jffmpeg must be updated, because the version is very old and doesnt work with the current release of ffmpeg.
We need to get the video codecs [url removed, login to view]+ (plus) and [url removed, login to view] working. These codecs must work together with RTP transmission.
The adapted jffmpeg library must compile and work on linux, windows and mac os x, 32bit and 64bit architecture.
For acceptance a simple JMF app should demonstrate the working encoding, sending, receiving and decoding functionality in combination with a darwin streaming server (will be provided). I think JMF-Studio should show all relevant functionality.
The deliverables must include two shared libraries (ffmpeg/libavcodec and jffmpeg) for every platform and architecture:
* Windows 32/64Bit (2000, XP, Vista, 7)
* Mac OS X 32/64Bit, ppc and x86 within one library
* Linux 32/64Bit (Debian, RedHat, openSSUSE)
Furthermore sourcecode including build scripts and documented changes to jffmpeg and if necessary to ffmpeg.
