Please read below and if you can do this then show me an example or right to me on how you will do it. If you can get this to work with wise or installshield then this is ok.
You must have advanced skills with installers to complete this task.
We need to create an installation that will get two exe files from the internet and launch them (one after the other)
This installation process should work similar to this link
<[url removed, login to view]>
Here is how it should work.. Our clients will have multiple applications... We want to create an easy process that will allow our clients to setup quickly to have our installer launched before their installer. Our installer will download from our servers.
for example: CLIENT A has 100 applications... we want to give client A a small installer (52k). We want the client to change the url of their current applications from [[url removed, login to view]] to [url removed, login to view]
When a user clicks on our clients application link it will launch our mini installer.. The mini installer will say.... "Do you want to connect to the internet to install files"
When the user clicks yes it will get the exe from my website and the exe from my clients site and launch my exe first... This is installer one. This installer will have several installation screens which will be custom. Some of the screens may have an option for the consumer to choose Yes or No.
The consumer will choose to install some of the applications or simply exit the installer.. On close of the installer or exit the clients application that was specified in the url will launch.
