The development of software (in C/C++) under either Windows or Linux to allow provide capability to send multimedia message from PC. The multimedia content should at allow a user-specified .jpeg image (as well as text) to be incorporated into the multimedia message to be sent. The MMS should be sent via a Nokia MMS-enabled mobile phone connected to the PC via USB cable. The software should also allow decoding of a MMS received via the connected phone, and the content (image + text) to be displayed to the user.
Edited to add: I am happy for the use of Java (instead of C/C++) if this makes the task easier. Also, it may be assumed that the Nokia platform is used, specifically a recent handset - the Nokia N95. Please advise if it the task is made easier if an app resides on the phone itself. However, please note, that the image (that will make up the MMS content) will be on the PC, therefore the image (+ text) has to be transmitted from the PC to the phone (as an MMS or otherwise).
