I have a gamesite that's based on the game of darts and is nearly finished, but my programmer needs some help in completing the project. We need work done with tweaking, graphic placement and some other component fixes in the games lobby, the game itself and some other minor areas of the site. The site would included adjusting graphics and cleaning up some text so is as mentioned....very minor. The games platform is comprised of a game server, lobby applet, and webdarts [url removed, login to view] game server is written in Python using the Twisted framework. It uses mysql as its backend and communicates with phpbb. The lobby applet is written in Java and the package naming is pretty simple. NetBeans were used to create it. The webdarts game is written in Jython and uses an event-driven framework. It's split in to several components, each which listen to different events (i.e. dartThrown). The coder must be able to work in our server which is FreeBSD.
We can't express this more seriously but please....only coders that have experience in game development or java need apply.
We also require links to games you've already developed or helped develop and any other work you'd like to show us to help in making our final decision. Because of past experiences, some work (references) may be checked to insure that you've been part of the creation you show us, so please keep this in mind. The coder should have good command of english. This enables us to communicate exactly what's required for this project.
Please view attachment for the listing of work that needs to be done. If you have any questions, leave me a PM and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. This is not within the list of work to be done, but we also need bug fixes for the coding for our game. It's a matter of correcting with the proper code we already have.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment and be completely bug free.
b) Where graphics are concerned, all graphics must be installed in perfect order in a crisp, clean presentation with all links working within each web page the coder participated in. This includes all graphics being centered within each page with no overlapping lines or poor cosmetic quality whatsoever.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Windows in all 3.0+versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla and Firefox.
