I am looking to create a chess program for the Nintendo DS. I need some one to do two things:
Create an interface example that will allow me to control what the screens look like. This will allow me to draw sprites, images, text, and rectangular shapes to the screens. It will also allow me to handle input from the buttons and touch screen. Last it will contain timer examples.
I currently have a working program that does exactly this, except it works on the pc. If this code will help I will provide it.
Second I need a chess engine that works well on the DS. I do not expect you to make it from scratch. Instead use any good open source chess engines, and convert them into a class so that my interface can call.
There is a program called DS Chess, it is based on the fruit engine. It already works on the ds fine, you just need to remove the interface and make a class out of it. Other good chess engines are crafty and GNU chess. Anyone good program is fine with me though.
