**THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE JOB FOR A PROGRAMMER WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING** Reverse-engineer and fully document the RIM blackberry sync protocol, then create a sample project (in C/C++) showing how to create/retrieve/edit contacts and appointments on the device. You are welcome to use the [url removed, login to view] Cassis project as a starting place. However, please note that it is very much incomplete and the accompanying code is all Perl, which will not work for this project.
1) Documentation of the structures, data types, and protocol for exchanging information with the RIM Blackberry family of devices. 2) A sample program for Windows (DOS terminal app also acceptable) in *ANSI C* showing how to create/retrieve/edit contacts and appointments on the device. 3) Complete Source Code
DOS/Windows [MUST BE ANSI C]
