This is a program that runs in the tray, showing an icon that is just a text that reads "WI." The context menu for the icon has three entries: "Enable ID Window" which may be checked or unchecked; "About...", and "Exit" which quits the program. The program starts with the checkmark for "Enable ID Window" enabled, but the user can turn it off by selecting it; and re-enabled it by selecting it again. The "About..." option simply displays a dialog box that says "Copyright (c) 2007 [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view]". When the "Enable ID Window" is enabled, the program is hooked into the mouse, and notices when the mouse pointer hovers on any window title bar. When the hovering is detected on a window title bar, a caption shows up, indicating filename with fully qualified path, to the executable that is the program underlying that window. Preferably, the caption appears where the mouse is pointed; but it may optionally appear where the tray icon is located, if that is significantly easier to code.
