In ASP I could loop through a posted [url removed, login to view] collection and grab values for submitted form fields with the same name to perform multiple updates in one submission. I can't figure out how to do this in Colf Fusion. It should be really simple. I have a list of input text fields (dept_uid) and checkboxes (access). I want to be able to submit the form to update each dept_uid to reflect the correct access setting (1/0).
<CFIF IsDefined("[url removed, login to view]")>
<!--- Loop through all the form fields --->
<CFLOOP FROM="1" TO="#ListLen([url removed, login to view])#" INDEX="i">
<CFPARAM name="access" default="0" >
<!--Setting Department Access Settings-->
<CFQUERY NAME="upd_pageaccess" DATASOURCE="#Application.DB#">
UPDATE csi_pagesecurity_dept SET access = #form.access# WHERE uid = #form.dept_uid#)
<!--<CFLOCATION URL="[url removed, login to view]">-->
What I end up getting returned is one string for each field, not a collection:
