i need small automated soft which download dynamic web page source, parse and filter them to cvs file and than analyze then according to simple logic and save results to extra file -- linux server version (just command line red hat) just for part 1 for 1 time downloading of all 190000...resulst and analyzing them, later i could download final cvs file for further actions so 1 part downlaod everything and using simple logic get me the results in some extra text file for example which i would download from server,no need to login here since those results are not authorized i think just direct url so if you do it for windows it will be slower(bandwith) and needs to suport some kind of resume,if PC is turned off or connection lost,to continue from latest result it will have resume fucntion,if soft is run again it will chech latest cvs entry and continue from that, updating the analysis it there are no more new udpates(getting error msg) the soft will stop i prefer linux for speed(bandwith) proposed solution for part 1 would be first get the results to analyze 1. get first file 2. determine first row time + first exact result id 3. then calculate the starting time for this day 4. determine numbers of races already run 5. this will give you the first exact id for that day 6. you can now download all result files from the starting id of the day loop through file to determine stats 1. save results in one row per race result eg. place | name | odds 2. determine immediately per row the race result positive or negative so an added 0 or 1 3. keep a variable for counting the 1's in a row 4. keep a variable for counting spaces between 2 > 1's 5. keep a variable for counting max space between 2 > 1's
