Fairly Simple program, but can be of some use to me. I recently had to use a commercial software program, with different versions. (WIndows 2000 or higher operating system) I am trying to quantify if the latest version is really an improvement over the earlier one. It doesn't seem like it.
I am looking for a program that can be activated by some combination keystroke (like ctrl F1, or some such) From that point on, this program, running in the background, counts the number of mouse clicks, number of keystrokes, and some measure of mouse movements. It is not important that the mouse movements be super accurate, but more a reflection of how much moving around was needed. Maybe a count of the number of times the mouse went more than 1 inch (or maybe 5% of screen width). In additon, a timer is started.
When the same combination key strokes occur, the program pauses, opens a window, displaying the totals of the 4 results (# keystrokes; #clicks, # substantial mouse moves, #time expended) . User can then close the window.
If the user forgets to close the program, the program ends on its own after some time, like 1 hour.
Tell me what a reasonable price would be.
Any questions - let me know.
