A call center needs to enter contact info on callers that need home service. This information will be stored in an exchange public contacts folder. When the customer gives their address, a database (currently in Excel) will be checked to see what franchisee's territory the call is in. This database is simply a 2 column Excel sheet with zip codes in one and Franchisee name in the other. The Franchisee's name will be populated in a custom field "Franchisee" on the Outlook form and stored as part of the contact info.
Each franchissee has an account and shared calendar on the Exchange Server. Based on the Franchisee name determined above, or entered manually by the call center, that franchisee's calendar will be pulled up to show their availablility. The call center operator will pick a time and duration and the calendar will be populated with the customers name and phone number on the 1st line and full address for location.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Windows Exchange Server - currently runnin on Server 2003 for small business but will be upgraded to Server 2003.
Call center PC's are all Windows XP Pro or Vista running Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007.
