The attached MS Access database needs populating with all the US counties and cities. There are two tables witin the database that need populating, County and Town. The County table needs completing first, then the Town table. Note: The Town table is to be populated with US Cities, NOT Towns!! All data MUST be spelt correctly.
- Complete the County table. Each row in the table will contain the county name, region (state) and country. The region and country fields are selection lists which are already populated. Please group the counties according to state and place in alphabetical format BEFORE adding to the table please. I.e. List all counties for ALABAMA first, listing the counties alphabetically. Then list counties for ALASKA, and so on. - Complete the Town table. Each row in the table will contain a city name and the appropriate county (selected from a pick-list). Please group the cities according to their county and place in alphabetical format BEFORE adding to the table please. I.e. List all towns (in alphabetical format) for Autauga (in Alabama) first, then cities in Baldwin etc... Once you've listed all cities in Alabama, then move on to cities in Alaska. - The completed database must include all US counties and all US cities. Each county must be linked to the correct state. Each city must be linked to correct county. - All data MUST be spelt correctly. IF YOU ARE IN ANY DOUBT ABOUT POPULATING THE TABLES, PLEASE ASK BEFORE COMMENCING! 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
