Specifications for Application "Print-A-Page" 1. Should interface with Internet Explorer and be compatible with the Maxthon 'skin' for IE. I do NOT want the pages pulled in IE alone due to ads that I want to suppress, which Maxthon does quite capably. 2. Should allow entry and storage/editing of a URL to be displayed and printed, as well as entry/editing of a scheduled time for each URL to be run. 3. Should allow entry/editing of a filename specification for the printed destination file, as well as ability to specify a default folder for each record entry. 4. Should allow a secified page to be loaded, checked for errors and printed to a pre-specified filename with a prepend of the date in the format 'YYYY-MM-DD-' 5. Must be able to pass the filename attributes, PAGE ORIENTATION and SCALING PARAMETERS when needed to the Adobe PDF printer module (Acrobat Distiller). An example is a custom page of charts I created which needs to be scaled to 75% and printed as 8.5 X 11 in portrait orientation. 6. An error warning (audible and visual) should be presented in the case of any errors in the page loading, such as 404 errors and other 'page not found,' 'server too busy,' 'cannot be displayed' or DNS, etc. errors. 7. User interface need not be fancy or pretty but maximally functional. Prefer the interface be able to display in full screen mode, and run as a scheduled service under Win2K or Win-XP. An example of the functionality required is Total Recoder Pro, which records a line input audio signal to a pre-specified filename with the date and time of the recording pre/ap-pended to the filename. It runs as a service under Win2K or Win-XP. The function of this applet will be to pull and archive daily stock exchange final data, and store it for future reference and research.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
