The heart of this program is a simple algorithm (uses only add/subtract/divide/multiply). The algorithm---or two variations of the algorithm---is applied to traditional astrological house, planet and sign placements in order to derive 2 numbers for each of these placements. These 2 numbers are calculated for a minimum of 40 years of consecutive dates and the bar, line, radar graphs, and the numerical/text tables and columnar reports are derived from simple mathematical manipulation of the 2 numbers. Ephemeris and atlas software, algorithm manuals (with detailed examples), source code for algorithm modification, Rough-idea guide templates (in VB6) used to indicate main features on all the forms to be used in the program are included. Also 49 pages of programmer’s documentation (a detailed flow chart could be written from this .doc outline). Program only calculates the basic placement, aspect, mutual dignity, and essential dignity interaction of the planets, houses, and signs (then applies the algorithm). Knowledge of complex astrology (declinations, ingresses, asteroids, etc.) is not required to code this program. Marketing will have partial screen shots of all/most forms and text reports. Therefore, the professional look you are able to apply to a fairly simple program will be a large part of what sells it. The user interface, graphs, and text reports require a slick, highly professional, user friendly, look and feel. Excel quality graphs are fine. The programmer will provide a method to incorporate a downloadable password and piracy deterrent for the initial installation (I’ve provided suggested methods to incorporate this).
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
3) The programmer will provide a limited feature demo version in addition to the fully functioning version.
