I don't need any graphics, I just need the foundation of a site built that will accomplish the following. I sent out "fun" emails to friends on a weekly basis. I want those emails to be archives in some sort of "blog" style environment. Since emails are sent in HTML format it should be relatively easy to pull the HTML from the body and store it in an html file. I would want the files named according to the date that the email was sent and I would want a main index page that would have links added to it, with the link named according to the Subject of the email. For example, if I send out an email like the following: ----- Subject: Interesting Picture Body: I thought this was an interesting picture and wanted to show you all. [[picture of something interesting goes here]] I also found a neat video on youtube, check it out: [url removed, login to view] Enjoy, -John ------- In this example, there would be a link generated on the index page called "Interesting Picture" and that would link to something like "/posts/[url removed, login to view]" if it was sent out today. In your bid please describe in detail how this could work and what it would look like. I don't know anything about the way CSS works, but my understanding is that using CSS I would be able to apply any sort of global formatting across the entire site and all posts once I come up with a color scheme, background, title, etc. Or if I wanted to put an advertisement on each page I would like to be able to do something like that too without having to edit every file individually of course. Again, I don't know how it works so you'll need to explain my options to me. If there is a better/faster/easier way to do it - I'm open to suggestions. I just want a low-maintenance and effortless way to archive my emails to my friends online, in web site form - for all to see if they wish. Must be done in PHP. (MySQL is fine too if we decide that using a DB is better) Happy bidding
