What I want is a CMS package which I transfer using FTP to a server of my client which I manage. My client never get FTP logins, they only get a login to their CMS (the CMS you create for me).
Okay, once transferred all the files to the server, I navigate to '[url removed, login to view]' (or something like this) and I can choose which modules have to be installed (the one my client paid me for).
After installation my client gets a login name and password to the installed CMS with the modules he paid for and is able to maintain their own site with this CMS.
So for example, if my client has paid for the layout-module, the photo-album-module and for the link-management-module, I check these modules from the installer so my client only has access to these modules. Then my client logs in to the CMS and is now able to change the layout of their website, is able to add photos and can create a link page and manage their links.
So I only need one CMS which I use for my clients separately, so there is no need to have a super admin and client own admins.
What I have seen in other CMS’es is that when during install a checkbox for a particular module is checked, a variable is changed into 1 in the database, when not checked it is 0. Then in the menu of the CMS only the modules appear which have a 1. This way clients can only access the modules they have paid for.
I understand you are programming this project in English. Because this CMS is meant for my clients in the Netherlands, I must have the opportunity to translate everything into Dutch just ONCE.
* Webshop module (including standard functions)
* Products / content module
* Layout module
* Photo-album module
* News module
* Affiliate system module
* Link management module
* SEO-module (important)
I have attached a module requirement document for more details about the modules.
I have an idea how it should look like. Also the details of the modules are known and I'd like to have contact with the programmer during development. This can be using messenger or mail. This way my ideas can be implemented best.
