Put the field names in the right order and correct the field types to import a bcp file successfully. You have the [url removed, login to view] and the field names, not necessarily in the right order. Below are all the field names, the field types are guessed - mostly OK, the order is somewhat wrong though. I use this script to recreate the Job table: Use DatabaseName GO Drop Table Job GO CREATE TABLE [url removed, login to view] ( JOB_URN char (10) NOT NULL , --1 PROGRESS_CODE char (3) NULL , --2 UOM_CODE char (4) NULL ,--3 TYPE_CODE char (20) NULL ,--4 COMPANY_URN char (10) NULL ,--5 STYLE_CODE char (4) NULL ,--6 OUTWORK int NULL ,--7 COMPLETED int NULL ,--8 CONTRACT_URN char (10) NULL ,--9 RT_DRAWING_NO char (30) NULL ,--10 RT_JOB_DESCRIPTION char (40) NULL ,--11 RT_LOAD char (10) NULL ,--12 RT_MAT char (10) NULL ,--13 RT_HEAT_TREAT char (10) NULL ,--14 RT_MAT_SIZE char (40) NULL ,--15 RT_MFG_DETAIL char (255) NULL ,--16 RT_IMPORTANT char (255) NULL ,--17 RT_MARK_ON char (255) NULL ,--18 LAYOUT char (20) NULL ,--19 SC_PROC_PRICE money NULL , --20 DATE_PROGRESS_CHANGED datetime NULL ,--21 RT_CUST_ORDER_NO char (25) NULL ,--22 RT_ORDER_QTY int NULL ,--23 RT_DATE_DUE datetime NULL ,--24 UNIT_SALES_PRICE money NULL ,--25 TOTAL_COST_PRICE money NULL ,--26 DATE_ORDERED datetime NULL ,--27 DATE_FIRSTDUE datetime NULL ,--28 COMMENT char (255) NULL ,--29 DATE_FINAL_SHIPPED datetime NULL ,--30 QUOTE_REF char (10) NULL ,--31 DATE_SECONDDUE datetime NULL ,--32 DELIVERY_WEEKS int NULL, --33 ) GO I then run bcp databasename..job in [url removed, login to view] -6 -U sa -Pxx Your job is to identify the correct structure of the JOB table so that the bcp import into 'databasename' will be completely successful.
