CSS expert needed to clean up messy CSS style sheet, rename styles in the php pages, and create a standards-compliant table-less website using CSS (and minimal html). Make pages cross-browser and cross platform. Pages are PHP, but they have templates that contain majority of UI to do the work. But you will have to clean up some css or html code in some php files. Run validators to ensure minimal errors and proper structure. * * * * PROVIDE LINKS TO CSS SITES YOU'VE CREATED * * DETAILS OF TASKS: • Clean up existing html and css. Most of site is already using CSS, but some areas are not. And some of the existing CSS is sloppy. You will need to change style names, clean up css, remove inline styles, etc. • Clean up the CSS style sheet, remove unused styles, group sections together, and properly comment, etc. • Add remaining language tags. The site uses php tags that pull in words from a language file so site can be converted to other languages. I think about 90% of site is fixed; just add any remaining word tags where there are text words in the php files. (if you come across English words in the code that will be output, then place the language tag there). • Get pages to work correctly and look same in following browsers and platforms: PC: IE 6 and up, Firefox 2 and up; Mac: IE 6 and up, Firefox 2+, and Safari 3+) • Work directly on my web server - I can't give you the full application and database to work on locally.
1) If it looks like you’re not working on the project or making any progress and on track to complete project by deadline, I’ll have to cancel the project and get a new coder. I will NOT extend the project for any reason; instead, I’ll hire a new coder. Sorry. 2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Hi. I have to place this project on hold for now - my QA team provided their functionality defect list, and I'm placing a top priority on fixing those issues. When I'm ready, I'll be back in touch.
