A simple shopping cart system needs programming. Design is already completed.
Description of functions:
Input quantity of a particular item. Upon doing so, the total price is automatically re-calculated (without tax cost). Once quantity is selected, and the user knows the price, the user hits the 'Add to Cart' button, and it is added to the cart, although, the page refreshes back to the same page, not to the shopping cart. The user can click 'Checkout' link when he/she wants to go to the cart. Ajax can be used here if easier (when adding items to cart).
Checkout page is your everyday checkout page: shows items in your cart, price for each, subtotal, total with tax, shipping select, total with shipping. Proceed to checkout link will take users to the next page where they enter shipping and billing information. Then a submit order button will complete the process.
