We have a need to rebuild a complex, highly customized e-commerce shopping cart and administrative structure. The site is currently live, but the codebase is aging and difficult to maintain. The new site will be built in PHP5 and MySQL using the Symfony PHP framework.
Specifications for future components will arrive as project components are completed and approved; all functionality is present in the existing site and the existing site can/will be used to demonstrate -- the requirements are crystal-clear. An emphasis is placed upon simplicity, code-reuse,flexibility, and speed.
Developers must be in a time-zone that is available for a minimum of 3 hours per night from the period between 6pm and midnight US-Eastern time, and must be able to converse with the project manager in Englishvia instant messaging software during that time. Experience with Linux/Apache, the Symfony PHP framework, and MySQL are required.
Project timeline is expected to be two months with optional future improvements.
