I have an existing microsoft access database with user interfaces and many reports. The database basically has 8 tables:
Table 1: Student Information (ID, Name, Gender, classes, etc.)
Table 2: Teacher Information (ID, Name, ...)
Table 3: Student Schedule Information (Student ID, Class ID)
Table 4: Class Information (Class ID, Class Name, Teacher, ...)
Table 5: Test General Information (Test ID, Test Description, ...)
Table 6: Test Detail (Test ID, Section #, Question #, Answer, ...)
Table 7: Question Category Descriptions (ID, Subject, Detail, ...)
Table 8: Results (Test ID, Student ID, Section #, Question #, Student Answer)
I would like to convert this database to a web interface that would allow me to provide the database to multiple schools over the internet through IE or other web browser. The privacy of this information is critical so implementing security would be critical. I would need to set it up so that people logging on from one school could only view data for their school and not have access to data from other schools.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
All common web browsers ranging from older versions of IE to Mac, etc...
We can run the backend on SQL server 2000 or would consider upgrade to SQL server 2005
