Our fantasy baseball league has been hosted by a site for 10 years but this year they made terrible changes and we are struggling to find a new host. So I wanted to post and see if we could find someone to build our own. Everything is database driven in FBLs. Many sites such as [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] have them for free so you can create an account and browse around to get a feel. Here are the requirements: Must have knowledge of Fantasy Baseball and understand its purpose so as to be able to wrap your hands around our requirements Site must be able to access and update baseball players statistics on its own. I am not aware of where current FBL sites get this but must find solution Must be able to track all statistics of players and we choose which ones will be scored Must be able to customize our own scoring Each team must be able to do it's own transactions with rules that will stop transaction if not allowed by league Admin must be allowed to go back and correct mistakes and statistics must be able to me corrected and adjusted for mistakes Must be able to manage multiple leagues individualy in case we decide to bring other leagues aboard Must allow for private and public messaging between teams Must allow admin to turn on or off interactive poll that he can create Must allow for news section that can be managed by admin Must have access to a database or newswire that will update Players notes Must allow admin to easily add and adjust players salaries Must allow players to be contracted with rules set by admin Must be Free Agents available Must have standings for the league Must allow teams to trade but allow admin to turn down trade if he rules it unfair Must allow teams to have their own web page where they can upload there logo and write stuff about their team, also shows their current roster and stats by default Must have rules in place when a free agent is claimed. I will supply those rules Must allow admin to change scoring
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
