This project is to create five (5) MySQL queries. This should be a quick and easy project for someone with MySQL knowledge. I have provided some info on working or "almost working" commands that I've tried and they might provide some guidance. The commands I need are: 1. MySQL command to check the date on UNPUBLISHED articles. If date isn't TODAY, then delete article. 2. MySQL command to check jos_content database table for duplicate entries using the first 25 characters of the TITLE field (title,25) and set the state to -2 (trash) for any duplicates found leaving the EARLIEST DATED ARTICLE in the database. 3. MySQL command to publish aviation blogs section articles. 4. MySQL command to divide UNPUBLISHED articles into 5 even groups and add content to the "fulltext" field. 5. MySQL command to optimize all database tables. I've attached a zip file with a small text file inside in which I go into much more detail about what is necessary and what I've tried. My website uses MySQL, PHP, and Joomla! to display many news articles imported via RSS feeds. These commands will be part of an attempt to automate the gathering and display of these articles on the web site. The posting and display of news articles is currently done by "hand," and automation is the goal so articles can be imported every few hours during the day. Deliverables on this project are the five (5) MySQL queries.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
