We would like to provide a US and UK feed to the Google tool Froogle. We have a MSSQL database of around 2000 live products. This is for my website that I own and operate the www.simplyislam.com. The tool could be a web based or vb based product. The finished product will allow us to submit feeds on a regular basis in a simple and reliable fashion. Liason and setup of establishing the froogle feed with google will be carried out by the winning bidder. I have a number of other projects concerned with [url removed, login to view] that have been posted or are waiting to be posted. The person who gains an understanding of the workflow of our existing website will also stand in very good stead to win subsequent contracts. Our website is in continual development / improvement and therefore we always require experienced and reliable programmers
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
The website is programmed in ASP and uses a MSSQL database and is hosted on a windows dedicated server with root access. The hosting service is provided by 1&[url removed, login to view] and administration is done via Remote Desktop. A mirror website for testing purposes is already setup on the server.
