I'm currently building a google maps real estate map: [url removed, login to view] I currently run a spider to collect properties from selected suburbs. I then run a geocoder script to obtain latitudes and longitudes for all the properties and store those in a database too. The script also 'hides' properties once they no longer appear on the site I'm spidering. I need the following adjustments made which I'm running out of time to make myself: 1) I would like the data from the search criteria to appear next to the title of the modules. So for example if someone selected '3 bedrooms' then '3+' would appear next to 'Bedrooms' (but right justified and not bold)... this is so people can always view their search criteria. 2) I would like any change in sliders etc to trigger an update. This will mean that I can remove the 'criteria' box and the 'search' button. 3) I would like to include a suburb search text box in the header with the default value being 'north melbourne' on opening the page. This search box should redirect people to the appropriate suburb. 4) I need the price slider to function. This involves a little but of parsing of price fields or substituting median house price for items without a price in the area on entry of items into the database. Currently the fields are a variety of text strings. 5) Instead of the pop up info bubbles appear on a click, I would like a third column with property information appearing in that 3rd column dynamically. Similar to http://www.redfin.com/search#search_location=90210. 6) Instead of linking directly to the photographs I would like to download the thumbnails and store them locally.
