Hello!
I need somehow to send WAP-pages back to cellularphones, and WEB-pages back to people with ordinary browsers.
I will have my WEB content in the /www/ folder and the WAP content in the /www/wap/ folder
...but I would like people to enter the same domainname. [[login to view URL]][1] - and get the WAP-site if they are on a cellularphone and the WEB-site if they are at the computer.
I think using the htaccess file is the right way to do it, right??
##### info #####
I found this somewhere so I guess it's possible. (I dont understand a word of it though)
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} Windows\ CE [NC,OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} BlackBerry [NC,OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} NetFront [NC,OR]
##### info #####
I *was also considering doing it in the [login to view URL] script and then redirect, but I think it can be done easier in the htaccess file, redirections always click alot in the speakers too. :)*
I also found a list of words that the HTTP_USER_AGENT most likely would contain if the user is using his cellular.
nokia
motorola

samsung

Any suggestions are welcome!
