I've broken my pick in trying to build a msi file where I have to include a merge file using .NET 2003. The merge file is necessary because I use a com file reference (DAO). I will provide a zipped copy of the project (c#). After running setup and executing the program, I get an error message telling me that it can't find interopDAO eventhough I have put it in the merge file which I added to setup. I want someone to teach me how to create a setup that includes a merge file, so that when I run the executable it works. Also, when I uninstall, I don't want it to break other software because it removes registration data.
