This project was initially reposted as the coder who initially started the project did not complete it. However we have managed to obtain the code and are satisfied with its operation so are currently using it live. However we do require amendments to it. Most of these amendments are listed in the pdf attached, along with the initial requirements pdf. In the zip file is also the full current code we are using. Potential bidders will be given access to the live site so they may view the site live.
Bidders are invited to quote on EITHER:
a) Perform the amendments required as stated in the pdf
OR
b) Rewrite the complete site if they feel this would be more efficient, incorporating the website amendments. However the frontend operation must be as it currently is.
In your bid, please indicate which option you are proposing.
Besides the PDF's attached Additional features required are:
-Time keeping for engineers work (a form whereby an engineer can "log in" to start work on an item and "logs out" when finished and the time spent on the item is automatically calculated and ammended to job reports)
-Extensive reporting facilities (price lists, stock status, profit/loss etc)
The SECOND stage of this project is to create an ecommerce website that works off the same database. This must incorporate credit card payments, paypal payments etc. THIS MUST NOT INCORPORATE USE OF ANY THIRD PARTY SHOPPING CARTS.
There are also some further minor adjustments that need to be made, but these will be discussed in detail with the appropriate coder(s)
Payment will be in TWO stages. Once when the inventory management is complete and Final payment when the e-commrce shop is complete.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
