I'm looking for someone with Microsoft Access/VBA/Visual Basic skills to help with an education project (schools, degrees, etc.). I need various macros/modules to massage the data, then export it for publishing to the web. This initial project will be for one module/subroutine, with the goal to identify the right person for ongoing work. This project is for a search routine that will take keywords and find degree programs that match those keywords. We have a table with descriptions of education sub-categories (example: Computer Aided Design), each of which will become a web page that includes links to schools offering that type of training. As I input each sub-category description, I identify the Primary Keyword as well as the category it belongs to. Because schools use different terms to describe their programs, I also enter multiple search terms that can be used to find the education programs for that sub-category. For example, the Computer Aided Design sub-category would fall under the Computer Training category. To insure we find all related programs, when I enter the description of Computer Aided Design, I'd enter the following (comma delimited) search terms: CAD , Compu*Design The routine needs to loop through the table, take each sub-category search term and use it to search the Programs Offered field in the school table. Gather all matches, eliminate duplicate records, and write each school record match & related fields (including Primary Keyword) to the appropriate export file (one separate export file for each category). Each category's export file should be sorted by Primary Keyword. This is a wordy description, but it's not that complicated. This will be easy for someone with MS Access/VBA skills. To get a better idea, visit [url removed, login to view] and click Computer Training, then Computer Aided Design. At the bottom of this sub-category description you'll see the placeholders waiting for the school data from this project.
