I would like a "This is Spam" button on Microsoft Outlook XP with code to send information about the current email to a CGI I write on my linux mail server. Your code would send the Message-ID as a parameter to my CGI script, and pass the first 2k of the message (including the full headers!) as standard input to my CGI. The button would be installed so I could easily click it when viewing one message in the preview pane while viewing my entire Inbox, but also from a separate preview window if I had double-clicked a specific message to see it in its own window. My CGI script will be written by me in Perl; it will live on my linux server where my POP3 mailbox is. It will interact with my custom procmail/spamassassin/bayesian/blackberry filters. Note: more projects will follow this one.
