You must develop a PHP script that does the following 1. gets from a file the same parameters for search as mls search engine does 2. then the script goes to the [url removed, login to view] website and gets all available realty items i.e : it goes through all search result pages and into each realty item on each result page. (!!! avoiding traps for robots !!!) 3. the resulting "item detail" pages should be parsed to get the following details: M.L.S# - item unique id Price Property type Building Style Bedroom(s) Bathroom(s) Lot size Age Features District Subarea Zone Region Address (may be I missed some details - feel free to tell me what I missed ) 4. after getting details for an item script inserts all the above details ( as text - but converted to lower case ) as well as the timestamp when the script ran into a database table ( POSTGRESQL is preferable) or into a ASCII file ( field delimiter in the text file is a parameter, defined in the parameter file there also is a parameter telling the script whether to output to the database/to the text file/to both, database connection parameters are taken from the parameter file too ) so far I am not intersted in getting pictures from mls and storing them in the database but it would be nice to have this as an option ( defined in the parameter file as well ) - consider handling pictures as a bonus task.
