Morpheus Software currently has a Windows-only morphing program available at [url removed, login to view]
A new version of the program with more features is in the works already, and we would like somebody to aid in developing a version for Mac OSX.
The work will be done using Cocoa and Objective-C.
A core library consisting of all the main program functionality will be provided as a static library (.a file) so the only programming will consist of writing the GUI around this library. We will develop the library along side our new version of the program for Windows and provide incremental updates of the library as needed.
The developer may be responsible for helping ensure the library is compatible with OSX by providing information specific to OSX that our Windows programmers may not have experience with. Examples of information that may be needed include pixel formats, unicode functionality, Windows registry parallels, and integration with Quicktime.
We already have the core library compiling under OSX and part of the program designed in Windows. The Windows version of the program can be provided to the developer as a blueprint for the GUI they should be writing in Cocoa.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site).
4) Delivery date should be within 30 days from the completion of the Windows version and the delivery of the final core library by us to the developer.
