The project is to completely develop an e-commerce site utilizing X-Cart software and necessary modules. I own and opperate two existing e-commerce businesses ([[url removed, login to view]] & [[url removed, login to view]]) as well as a retail store in Houston, Texas. The new site will be dedicated to selling several thousand swimming pool related products. I am affiliated with the largest distributor of such products and have a copy of their entire catalog electronically, approximately 185 mg of product data organized in a SQL database.
The coder must be an experienced X-cart programmer and capable of efficiently integrating the product data into an attractive and commercial store. Current competitors have difficulty in creating a simple customer navigation strategy. As an example is the competitor site [[url removed, login to view]] and [[url removed, login to view]]. Additional commercial features, but not limited to, are UPS shipping integration and potentially auto ordering with the distributor. The distributor has online ordering capability, etc.
This is a complete store assignment, custom X-cart store front to complete trouble shooting and release for a creative and talented coder.
I will need to determine an efficient method of distributing the 185 mg of product data to a hand full of top tier coders for review prior to the ultimate selection and award of the assignment. I am doing because I want the coder to be able to fully access their obligation to this rewarding project.
