This application will have all the basic controls of a standard web browser (location, forward, back, stop, etc) and will allow the user to dynamically build an xml file about the gallery web page based on some minimal interaction with the gallery through the browser window. All of the possible target galleries have a standard format: an html presentation of 5 to 25 “thumbnails?? linked directly to full-size JPEG images or, in the case of a movie gallery, directly to web video files. The user will select content on the gallery, select a few parameters loaded from our database, and click a “Submit?? button. At this point, the application will build an xml file and post it (via HTTP) to the URL specified in the application Settings. See the attached screen capture mock-up for an illustration of the application’s behavior.

We are hoping to have this application more Firefox oriented, rather than Internet Explorer based. A Firefox extension or plug-in would be ideal. This is not going to be distributed to the public; it is for internal use in our company only. The application should be compatible with Windows XP.
