This should not be too difficult of a project for experienced programmer... the first part is easy, I want a person to be able to play a .mp3 file and have the middle range waves taken out. There are programs that do this now, and it removes the vocals on most recorded songs. I want the .mp3 file to be converted to a .wav file without middle range waves (no vocals).
I understand that the vocals will not be removed from 100% of songs; I will accept the 80% success rate that this method achieves. Simply invert the waves and play on top of the standard waves, which will cancel out the middle waves.
The second part will be a simple text editor that will allow the lyrics to be typed. There needs to be a way to mark the words with corresponding times in the song, so the words will change as needed... just like a Karaoke machine.
The last part will be to write this to a CD-R that will work as a CD-G on a Karaoke machine. I will consider accepting the bid without this portion; however, it is desired. Please bid even if you do not think the CD-G portion is doable.
At a minimum, I want to be able to convert a .mp3 file to a .wav file without the middle range waves (normally vocals). I want to be able to type in the lyrics, and connect those lyrics to song timing... then I want to play the .wav file and have the words show up on the screen as they are supposed to be sung - like a karaoke machine.
Writing the finished song to work on a Karaoke machine as a CD-G is desired, but not required.
