I would like to create a *nix community website where users can share their config files for different programs, services, etc. The site should be PHP/MySQL driven. There should be a registration process for users and there should be a user’s page once the users have registered. On the users page they should have the ability to upload, edit, or delete their configs. In addition to the user’s page, there should also be an administrative page where I (or another admin) could login and delete configs or users. In addition to these requirements, I would also like to have a rating system. The rating system should give registered users the ability to rate config files or to rate the users. The way that I picture this site once finished is very much like digg.com. However, there is one rather large exception; it will be for config files rather than news. Thanks!
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
This site will be running on Debian etch. MySQL version 4.1 & PHP version 4. It should be compatible with all browsers, even IE.
