I need a webshop for my numismatic sales business. The site will do retail sales of paper money for collectors. You can see the basic idea on a site like <[url removed, login to view]>. I will list perhaps over 2000 items. The menu should be listed on the left where a search function leads to the alphabetical list by country. Click on the name of the country and all the paper money for sale from that country will be listed with thumbnail images. click on the thumbnail and a popup of the full sized images shows up.
I need a shopping cart function but do not need credit card functions. At the checkout, the bank account information for payment will be displayed with the total to be paid plus all this details sent to the buyer by email. I will then receive an email of the ordering information. The rest of the transaction is done off site so does not need to be built into the site.
The big wrinkle here is that the site will be in Japanese. But since I am a former translator, I can do that myself based on a version done in English. I see pretty minimal text in the project anyway.
I also need the coder to assist me in maintaining the site. For example, how to add new items and explanatory text, to change inventory quantity, etc.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
